it's huge!

So finally, here it is in all its glory.  To get it all in the shot, I had to take the photos from a balcony overlooking the carpark at the school where my husband worked.  Those divided-off sections in the top right of the first photo are car park bays...so that will give you an idea of the size of the finished piece - a pretty impressive joint effort, don't you think?

I'll be back again with a few closeups tomorrow...and then will add lots more photos once the piece goes on show later in the week.  I don't think that anyone visiting the Craft & Quilt Fair at the Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island this year is going to miss it...it really is huge!!!
